“When our church needed a new edifice, you were highly recommended to us. We have been pleased beyond words with your excellent customer service and the beauty and quality of our new church building. Our congregation thanks you so very much.”

– Gerald McKelroy Pastor, Willamette Valley Baptist Church

Churches have long been the cornerstone of strong, supportive communities. They offer fellowship, a place to reflect, and frequently serve the needs of others in need. As leaders in the steel building manufacturing industry, the team at Pacific Building Systems (PBS) have had the pleasure of building hundreds of affordable, aesthetically pleasing, pre-engineered steel church buildings and worship centers throughout the Pacific Northwest.

For nearly six decades, our community metal and steel structures projects have “wowed” religious leaders and exceeded all expectations. Upon completion, it is not unusual to hear feedback like “I had no idea a steel building could look like this” or “I didn’t know it would appear so modern and elegant!”

Every building we design is unique to our client, and projects range dramatically in size. However, there is one need that nearly all church communities we have worked with have in common: the need for a flexible, multi-use space that offers room to grow.

Our steel manufactured buildings are ideal for religious gathering places because we offer clear-span or multi-span framing options without interior columns for maximized uninterrupted interior floor space usage.

Another solution Pacific Building Systems (PBS) offers is the ability to expand or renovate your current space to fit the needs of your growing congregation, saving you both time and money. PBS steel buildings have the advantage of being easily modified and expandable.

Whether you are looking to expand an existing space or need a new house of worship, Pacific Building Systems (PBS)  offers a complete range of structural systems to meet your requirements.

Here are a few examples of the custom metal church projects we’ve had the pleasure of working on:

Willamette Valley Baptist Church Aumsville, Oregon

When the Willamette Valley Baptist Church first held services in an 800 ft mobile home in 1988, it’s likely they never imagined they would one day sit on forty acres of property in Aumsville.

In 2007, they came to Pacific Building Systems with a vision of building a church community on their newly acquired property, with a new auditorium, an educational building, a huge stainless steel kitchen, plenty of restrooms, and a gymnasium. Our team members took their ideas and designed a spacious, light-filled worship center that will serve this community for years to come.

Trinity Lutheran Church Dallas, Oregon

Trinity Lutheran Church in Polk County, Oregon began their congregation in 1946 in a small, modest chapel. Decades later, church leaders knew a new facility was necessary in order to accommodate their growing congregation, so they came to Pacific Building Systems with their vision.

Together, we designed and manufactured a warm and welcoming prefabricated steel structure for this family-friendly institution that will last for generations. Today, Trinity Lutheran Church serves a congregation of 240 people and serves their community by offering free healthcare to those in need twice a month in the Polk Community Free Clinic.

Dayspring Fellowship Keizer, Oregon

When church leaders at Dayspring Fellowship needed a building that offered both versatility and functionality, they decided a prefabricated steel building from Pacific Building Systems would offer the perfect solution. Our team is proud to have worked on this project, which included a front entrance that led to a spacious lobby, a contemporary worship center, and a multi-purpose gym.

When asked why they decided to become part of Dayspring Fellowship, many church members will say, “This place feels like home.”
