In this employee highlight, we are excited for you to get to know Bobbi Murphrey, a new employee in our Components Sales Division. Read on to learn what brought her to PBS, what her job entails, and how she spends her time outside of the workplace.
When Did You Start Working with Pacific Building Systems?
Bobbi’s journey with Pacific Building Systems began nearly a month ago on July 24, 2023.
With her positive attitude, dedication, and willingness to learn, she has quickly become an integral part of PBS. She’s shown plenty of initiative and is eager to get going in her job. While she’ll be heading up the Oregon area for Components Sales, she’ll be working alongside other divisions to collaboratively fill orders and meet customer’s needs.
What Have You Learned From Being With Pacific Building Systems?
Despite her relatively short time with us, Bobbi has already delved into the world of blueprints, embracing the challenge with enthusiasm. Learning to decipher these architectural maps is crucial in her role as a Component Sales and Service Representative, and her excitement reflects her commitment to mastering these tricky prints.
What is Your Role Within Pacific Building Systems?
Bobbi has taken on the role of Component Sales and Service Representative.
This is an important position that requires a deep understanding of our products and a passion for assisting our valued customers. She must also be equipped when it comes to conflict resolution and thinking on her feet if something doesn’t go according to plan. She is the bridge between our offerings and the needs of our clients, ensuring that each interaction is informed, tailored, and productive.
How Would You Describe Your Job at Pacific Building Systems?
Bobbi’s experience with Pacific Building Systems has been nothing short of wonderful.
The team spirit, support, and shared dedication to success have resonated deeply with her. It’s this collaborative atmosphere that allows us to continually raise the bar and exceed expectations in everything we do. While she’s still getting the ropes of what her new job entails, she’s learning her way around the buildings and getting to know the other employees across the different divisions.
When we asked her how she’s enjoying her work here so far, she commented that, “Working with PBS has been wonderful. The team is very supportive of one another, and everyone has a great attitude and drive for success.”
We’re glad we can help foster such a supportive environment and we hope we can continue to do so as she settles into her new role here.
How Do You Spend Your Time Outside of Work?
Beyond her role in the Components Department, Bobbi finds joy in spending quality time with her family, building and nurturing those cherished connections. She remarked that she’s, “Very close with family.”
Her interests extend beyond the family circle to the great outdoors, where she indulges in rockhounding and hiking. Additionally, her tropical plant collection stands as a testament to her appreciation for nature’s beauty and her green thumb.
Bobbi’s presence enriches the workplace of Pacific Building Systems and her dedication to her role as a Component Sales and Service Representative reflects our shared commitment to excellence.
