From the earliest days of our business to today, we’ve built an incredible legacy of success as a pre-engineered metal building and components supply company.

We’re proud to be celebrating sixty years in business. We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings and we’re honored to have made it over half a century in business. To reach this milestone, we owe a great gratitude to the staff and customers who have been part of our company history. Without their hard work and dedication, we wouldn’t have gotten this far. Our staff has always gone above and beyond to ensure that our customers get the best steel buildings and service possible. From our first set of pre-engineered metal buildings, to the ones that stand strong today, our staff has worked diligently to make sure each building is built with the highest quality standards in mind.
Our customers have also been instrumental in our success over the last sixty years. We wouldn’t be here if not for their trust and loyalty. We are grateful for their support and the countless opportunities they have given us to help them find the perfect pre-engineered steel building for their needs.

How We Got Started
Sixty years ago, a fierce storm that hit the Pacific Northwest created an opportunity for four brave men to take a risk and create something new. Fletcher Prince, Floyd Lenhardt, Vance Yoder, and Elvin Poge saw a need in the market for pre-engineered metal buildings, and they founded Truss T. Structures in 1962 to meet that need.
The original four founders had extensive experience in steel buildings, and they recognized that their company could be trusted to provide quality steel trusses. The name Truss T. Structures is a clever play on words that speaks to their expertise in both trusses and trust. These four business owners were the driving force behind Truss T. Structures’ success. From the very beginning, they were committed to providing superior service, and their hard work paid off as the company became one of the top producers of pre-engineered metal buildings in the Pacific Northwest.
Pre-engineered metal buildings have been an important part of our business since our inception. When we first started out, our founders were driving around and looking for old steel buildings, that were usually barns, that needed repairs or to be renewed. This was a very hands-on approach to sales, but it enabled them to quickly grow their business and build trust with their customers.
Since then, we’ve expanded our operations to a five acre lot in Woodburn, Oregon. Here, we have a storefront and a manufacturing space, making our pre-engineered metal buildings and components easily accessible to the general public. We’re proud of the metal building company that we have built over the past sixty years and continue to strive for excellence in our products and services. We thank you for being a part of it.

As we celebrate sixty years in business, it’s exciting to look at the company history and see where we are today. As our team is constantly researching new areas of application for our steel buildings, we’re thrilled by the number of opportunities that have come our way in recent years.
