At Pacific Building Systems, we offer in-house detailing services to help you with all the hard work. We’ll count each foot of paneling you’ll need, right down to the exact number of fasteners the project calls for, so you don’t have to worry about the nitty-gritty details.
But that’s not all! If you choose to come in and sit down with a pre-engineered building component expert at our store, we can show you color samples to help you find the best match for your existing components and educate you on the fine details of the project with our in-store displays.

The Components Team
At the forefront of our components team are Yolanda and Rigo.
These two outstanding PBS team members are experts in the field of pre-engineered metal building components and have been instrumental in helping our clients achieve their goals. Let us share a few recent projects that they’ve worked on, which showcases their expertise and problem solving skills.
Yolanda has a couple of opportunities that are noteworthy to share in particular. Throughout her time at Pacific Building Systems, she’s worked on a wide array of building projects and been instrumental in their success. One of these projects included coordinating with Los Enterprises out of Grand Ronde, Oregon to create success throughout their metal building journey.
Yolanda, along with the rest of the PBS Components Division, worked alongside Misty and Carolyn Smith of Los Enterprises to bring their vision to life. Their structure was a compilation of concrete, steel, and wood. Although this may seem tricky to harmoniously marry these materials, with the design assistance of Grummel Engineering LLC out of Portland their concept was given form on paper.
Yolanda Walsh and her expert peers here at PBS took the 2-dimension drawings and created their 3 dimensional form that they were able to preview. From concept to completion to installation, PBS walked side-by-side with our friends (customers) along the journey.

Project Insights
Let’s talk about the smaller projects we work on too, such as replacements. Let’s use replacing paneling on a hangar as an example. A pre-engineered metal building makes a great hangar for airplanes. But what happens when that hangar gets bumped a few too many times by cars or planes during routine access to and from the building? It happens!
In this situation, our team has to decide the best course of action and how they can best help. This may include getting the specs on what panel it is and then making the best recommendation regarding color along with the needed fasteners to re-hang the panel.
Our team of pre-engineered building components experts have a plethora of knowledge that can come in handy during these replacement projects and can help make the replacement process a smooth one.
